ViewingRoom ("we", "us", or "our") operates the viewingroom.io platform. We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Because our software is designed specifically to avoid handling sensitive personal data, this Privacy Policy is straightforward.

2. Data Controller

For the content uploaded by our clients (the material suppliers), the individual supplier using our admin panel acts as the Data Controller. ViewingRoom acts strictly as a Data Processor, providing the technical infrastructure to display their materials.

3. Data We Collect From Administrators (Suppliers)

To create an account and manage the portal, we collect strictly necessary data:

Account Data: Name, email address, and encrypted password.
Brand Data: Company name, brand color, and brand logo.
Product Data: Material SKUs, descriptions, and product images uploaded by the supplier.

4. Data We Collect From End Users (Designers/Boutiques)

Zero Personal Data is collected.

By design, we do not require, collect, or store the names, email addresses, physical addresses, or phone numbers of the designers or boutiques using the viewing portals. We only log which internal material references (SKUs) were interacted with, attached to an internal label chosen by the supplier.

5. How We Use Data

We use the data provided solely to:

Authenticate admin users.
Display the supplier's digital material library on their custom branded portal.
Log internal material requests (SKUs) to display in the admin dashboard.

We do not use your data for marketing, analytics, advertising, or sell it to third parties.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use only essential, functional cookies (e.g., Laravel session cookies) to ensure the admin panel and viewing portals function correctly. We do not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any third-party advertising cookies.

7. Data Storage & Security

All data is stored securely on servers located within the European Economic Area (EEA). Admin passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt algorithms. Image files are stored securely and cannot be accessed without proper authentication or a valid, unexpired unique token.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

If an admin user deletes their account, or if an annual subscription is terminated, we permanently delete all associated brand data, uploaded material images, and viewing room logs within 30 days.
